Hello All!
Greetings in the Precious Name of our Lord and soon coming King.
The following is a synopsis of our last Teen Challenge Meeting held on Friday, October 24, 2008 @ 1:00 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:
1) Winston McGowan
2) Ted Binda
3) Francis Culpepper
4) Juliet Perreira-Smith
5) Dil Mohammed

Pastor Balram was unable to attend due to an eye surgery he is recuperating from.
The meeting commenced with a prayer by Bro. Dil.
At this meeting we basically were fine tuning arrangements for our Street Meeting. Bro. Culpepper give us an overview of arrangements in place for meeting and ask for group’s involvement in setting programme for the event. It was decided that Bro. Dil will convene.

It was agreed that monthly meetings should be held the last Friday of every month

Our next Teen Challenge Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2008 @ 1:00 P.M. (Juliet to call members after confirming where our next meeting will be held).
Bro. Culpepper closed by praying for our Street Meeting.

STREET MEETING
The following is a summary of our very first Street Meeting held on October 25, 2008 @ 6:30 P.M.
We were approximately twenty-five (25) in all. Opening prayer was done by Bro. Culpepper, followed by a short time of worship led by a group of three (3) persons from Central A.O.G. after which Bro. Binda spoke a little on what Teen Challenge is all about, this was followed by a testimony by Bro. Dil on how God saved him from a life of drug and alcohol. Bro. Donny Holder delivered a timely word (His scripture was taken from Hebrews 12:1-2 and message entitled ‘Being Addicted to Jesus’). An alter call was made and two persons responded, Bro. Donny led them in the sinners prayer and handed the meeting over to Bro. Binda who further prayed for those who accepted Jesus. Bro Dil invited the Worship Group to sing a victory song, while the names and addresses of those who accepted Jesus were recorded for follow-up. Bro. McGowan closed our Meeting in prayer.

We thank God for this humble start and are looking forward to greater and wonderful things in the not to distant future.

God Bless

Juliet
